Appassionata
Portrait of Ludwig von Beethoven about 10 years before he died. At that time the composer was completely deaf, but created some of the greatest music ever heard. What makes Beethoven's music extraordinary is its' passion - his own powerful emotions turned into music inside his head which he then wrote down, and composed into a stunning range of musical expressions...Whether it is the private musing of "Moonlight Sonata" or the grief-to-glory epic of his Ninth Symphony, the stirrings of his soul will stir others for as long as men have souls.

Scale is life-size, dimensions are 26"high x 16" wide x 13"; base is stone.

Bronze edition of 30.
